The American Cross Country Skiers (AXCS) is very proud to offer this exclusive directory of XC ski clubs and groups throughout the United States. All of the groups listed include programs for adult skiers 30 and older (aka master or citizen skiers). Many clubs also groom local community trail systems, conduct social events/trips/tours, and have age group programs for youth and junior skiers. 150-member family-oriented club offers hiking, mtn biking and xc skiing trips, operates trails, hosts annual Norski event.
The LNSA is a non-profit organization that grooms 4-8k of trails at the golf course, and 8-12k of trails at Beaver Creek on the South Pass highway. We support high school racing and citizen nordic clinics. Voluntary dues will get you on the mailing list for trail condition and grooming updates and news of association events.
The Lapham Ladies is a womens ski group located in SE Wisconsin. We are a group of women who are all tied by the love for skiing and the outdoors. Our group meets regulary to put in some intense training as well as enjoy each other's company. We are truly an inspiring group and a ton of fun to be around!
Responsible for grooming the McDonalds Pass ski trails and promoting cross country skiing in our area.
Since 1928 the Leavenworth Winter Sports Club has been facilitating winter recreation in the beautiful Bavarian village of Leavenworth, Washington. We groom 24 kilometers of trails - classic and skating - at three locations. Five kilometers are lighted every night for skiing.

The Loma Prieta Ski Touring Section (STS) of the Sierra Club leads cross-country ski trips to the Sierra Nevada and elsewhere. We are a diverse group of about 100 who share the love of ski touring in the backcountry. We publish a newsletter (Track), we promote conservation of wilderness areas, and we hold a meeting on the first Monday of each month from November through May.
Founded in 1976, we are Long Island’s only cross country ski club. We provide our members opportunities to experience cross country skiing and other activities throughout the year in a spirit of camaraderie and fun.

Located on Shonya Hill, just east of Lyndonville village, this small area boasts some great skiing for such a small area. LOC is run strictly by volunteers-from running the lifts, managing concessions, and grooming, you'll find a community member giving (and enjoying!) there time at LOC.

The Madison Nordic Ski Club is for every cross country skier -- beginner or expert, young or old -- who wants to enjoy skiing even more. Each winter the club organizes monthly meetings, day and weekend tours, an evening race series, social events, and special activities for youngsters.
To promote the life-long sport of nordic skiing, organize training together, and bring in new people of all ages to the sport To engage in fun, healthy competition. To improve one's skiing technique to enjoy the sport to its fullest. To celebrate the winter season with a activity that provides life-long rewards.
The Maine Winter Sports Center (MWSC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, economic development corporation, founded in April 1999 with a grant from the Libra Foundation in Portland, Maine. Our mission is to re-establish skiing as a life-style in Maine for lifestyle and economic opportunity for rural communities of the state. Our assets include world class cross country and biathlon venues in Fort Kent and Presque Isle, Big Rock Alpine area in Mars Hill and Quoggy Jo Alpine area in Presque Isle, Maine.
Mammoth Nordic promotes the enhancement of non-motorized winter recreation for our community. We view the availability of safe, clean, healthy recreation opportunities, both winter and summer, as integral to the quality of life for those who live near or choose to visit our community.

We are a volunteer organization working in cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service. We operate and maintain over 30 kilometers of track set trails. The Big M is one of the first great NORDIC trail systems in the U.S. It was professionally developed in the early 1950's.
