The American Cross Country Skiers (AXCS) is very proud to offer this exclusive directory of XC ski clubs and groups throughout the United States. All of the groups listed include programs for adult skiers 30 and older (aka master or citizen skiers). Many clubs also groom local community trail systems, conduct social events/trips/tours, and have age group programs for youth and junior skiers. The Buffalo Nordic Ski Club of Buffalo, NY, promotes and actively participates in the sport of cross-country skiing. Our members span all age groups and skill levels from beginner to expert.
The Cambridge Sports Union is one of the Boston area's premier running, skiing and orienteering athletic clubs boasting members from all corners of greater Boston, Massachusetts and beyond.
Cape Nordic sponsors a variety of opportunities and events for Cape Elizabeth youth and adults to participate in and support the competitive, recreational and social aspects of nordic skiing. Cape Nordic encourages all levels of participation, from beginner, learning basic racing technique, to the elite regional competitor.
CASTA is a cross-country ski club located in Albany, New York. Our club promotes ski outings for Capital District residents. We meet once monthly. Activities include day outings, bus trips, weekend trips, and annual week-long adventures at very reasonable group rates.
The Casper Nordic Ski Club is located in Casper, Wyoming. Our members love to ski, especially on our mountain, seen above. We support local high school skiing programs, USSAracing, and community races. Throughout the season, we sponsor various instructional programs and benefits.
The Cayuga Nordic Ski Club’s purpose is “the promotion and encouragement of Nordic skiing as a sport, healthful exercise, recreational activity and as a means of enjoying the outdoors.” To achieve this purpose, the club organizes Nordic skiing events suitable for skiers of all abilities. These include tours, ski technique clinics, waxing clinics and races. The club also promotes the exchange of information on ski trails and snow conditions in areas around Ithaca.
The Cedar Valley Nordic Ski Club is a nonprofit organization for the promotion of cross-country skiing. The Club caters to all skiing abilities and promotes both traditional diagonal skiing and skate skiing.
Along with many service programs, CONC provides opportunities to meet other cross-country skiers and make new friends.

The Chicago Metropolitan Ski Council ("CMSC") was formed in 1957 and now has 86 plus member clubs. The clubs represented offer downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing as well as various other activities year round. They are adventure clubs, singles clubs, clubs, and clubs that take just about anybody.
Chicken Creek Ski Area is one of the best cross-country ski areas in Southwest Colorado.

Chisholm Ski Club is located at Black Mountain of Maine Ski Area in Rumford, Maine. The Club has a rich tradition which dates back to the early days of the 20th century at its Spruce Street location and its mid 1900's days at Scottie's Mountain.

Our learn-to-ski and learn-to-row days are attended by many local residents. Center guests are also welcome to participate.
Crested Butte Nordic Council (CBNC) serves residents of and visitors to Gunnison County throughout the winter months, offering cross-country skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing,guided tours and sledding. Our mission is to provide individuals of all ages and abilities the opportunity to learn, enjoy and improve in the sports of cross-country (Nordic) skiing and snowshoeing.
The XC Ski Shop Team finished first in the Michigan Cup Team competition in 2001.
Timberland Hills and Timberland West were built and are maintained by the "Cumberland Area Ski Touring Association". The CASTA Ski Club procured land usage agreements with both Burnett and Barron Counties to build and maintain the ski trails, but receives no funding from them. We operate by fund-raisers, donations, and memberships.
