The American Cross Country Skiers (AXCS) is very proud to offer this exclusive directory of XC ski clubs and groups throughout the United States. All of the groups listed include programs for adult skiers 30 and older (aka master or citizen skiers). Many clubs also groom local community trail systems, conduct social events/trips/tours, and have age group programs for youth and junior skiers. The Madison Nordic Ski Club is for every cross country skier -- beginner or expert, young or old -- who wants to enjoy skiing even more. Each winter the club organizes monthly meetings, day and weekend tours, an evening race series, social events, and special activities for youngsters.

The MECCA Cross-Country Ski Club has been in existence for about twenty years. It consists of a small hard working group of volunteers that function in cooperation with public agencies.
A Year Round Recreational Club that organizes Weekend cross-country ski trips in the Winter. In the Spring, Summer and Fall we organize hikes, weekend camping trips, local bike rides, and canoe trips.

The North End Ski Club was formed in 1997 to facilitate the development of a public access trail and trail head for the American Birkebeiner Trail near Cable. The club has also developed a system of ski and snowshoe trails originating from the North End Trail head and annually presents the North End Classic ski race.

The Northwoods Nordic Ski Club is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization in the Rhinelander, Wisconsin community. We are a group of individuals dedicated to providing outdoor silent sports recreation to the public with an emphasis on cross-country skiing. We maintain approximately 13 kilometers of cross-country ski trails at two locations: 1. The Rhinelander Northwood Nordic Ski Trails near the Rhinelander Northwood Golf course 2. The Rhinelander Community Trails near the Rhinelander High School (RHS) We also provide principle support to the Rhinelander High School Nordic Ski Team and to the Rhinelander Middle School Nordic Ski Team.
The Rib Lake Ski & Snowshoe Club consists of a volunteer organization of people who donate many hours of time to promote and maintain one of the finest cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trail systems in Wisconsin.
The purpose of the RLNA is to promote Nordic Sports and cultural/outdoor activities conducive to the health and welfare of its members and the local community.
Family-oriented recreational and racing club maintains the trails at The Ridges, hosts an annual 25-km race, supports the Wisconsin Rapids Junior Nordic Ski Team and provides year-round training.

We are a group of nearly 400 fun-loving, adventurous skiers, who enjoy both downhill and cross-country skiing along with the apre' ski social events. Our membership is a comprised of single and married persons, mostly between 30 and 55 years old, with a common goal; that is, to promote skiing and other sports and social activities throughout the entire year.
We, as Wausau Nordic Skiers, are volunteers - diverse people with a common interest in the sport of cross country skiing. We are both competitive racers and weekend social skiers - a complete spectrum of individuals consisting of families, singles, youths and seniors from all social spheres.
