The American Cross Country Skiers (AXCS) is very proud to offer this exclusive directory of XC ski clubs and groups throughout the United States. All of the groups listed include programs for adult skiers 30 and older (aka master or citizen skiers). Many clubs also groom local community trail systems, conduct social events/trips/tours, and have age group programs for youth and junior skiers. A collection of Northern New York's enthusiastic - and by no means over the hill - cross country skiers.
The mission of the Alaska Pacific University Nordic Skiing Center, APUNSC, is to promote the development of cross country skiing in Anchorage through community based athletic programs, and education. In addition, provide a high level of coaching, training, education and support for junior, elite, and master’s skiers who aspire to competitive success at the national and international levels.
Alaska Winter Stars provides programs for younger juniors, intermediate juniors, advanced juniors and masters and seniors.
Members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club (AOC) gather weekly for the enjoyment of the outdoors in Northwestern Pennsylvania and Southwestern New York. The club operates on a very informal and social basis, so it is as much a social club as it is an outdoors club.

Mainly a group of bike racers who get together to train and race on XC skis during the bike off-season.
We exist to promote and encourage skiing and related activities, and to provide for organized fellowship, entertainment, and instruction in skiing techniques. Our winter activities involve downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, and alpine racing.
The AMC Boston Chapter ski committee is a collection of people who share a common interest in some or all types of skiing. Some are experts, some beginners, some have just been on skis once and fell in love.
The Ashland Ski Trail Association is a non-profit group, formed in September 1996, dedicated to opening and maintaining a cross country ski trail in the city of Ashland, Wisconsin. The full 5.5 kilometers of the trail are tracked for classic style skiing and most are groomed for skate style skiing as well. In the summer, the trail offers a beautiful walk in the woods without ever leaving the city.
The mission of the Aspen Valley Ski/Snowboard Club is to provide opportunities for Roaring Fork Valley youth to engage and excel in winter sports.
The Aspen/Snowmass Nordic Trail System was initially developed in the early 80’s by the Aspen/Snowmass Nordic Council, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and improving cross-country skiing in the Aspen and Snowmass area.
The Auburn Ski Club, Inc. (ASC) has been one of the foremost organizations in the nation in documenting the history of skiing and promoting its future. Throughout its 71 years, Auburn Ski Club has provided ski programs for children, adults and the entire family. Most of the youth who have participated in its programs repeatedly recount their experience with Auburn Ski Club later in their lives. Auburn Ski Club is dedicated to providing these positive experiences to others.
The Backcountry Trail Patrol Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting trail users and natural resources through service and backcountry safety education. We provide Nordic ski and snowshoe patrol at several locations in Minnesota State Parks and the Chippewa (WI) National Forest, and assist at ski races across the region.

Bay Nordic is a northeast Wisconsin cross country ski club that offers skiing opportunities for youth through adult skiers. Our emphasis is the expansion of youth opportunities, family activities, and ensuring the long-term success of Nordic skiing in the region through community outreach and support of local trail systems.
We're a town club that...Builds and maintains the ski trails (map!) and warming hut in Earl Legacy Park...Organizes X-C ski races and other events...Supports X-C skiing in Bedford.
