| Bridger Ski Foundation(BSF) Bozeman, Montana With it's roots dating back to the 1960s, the BSF Ski Club is integral to skiing in the Gallatin Valley. The Ski Club provides numerous social gatherings, coordinates the annual ski swap, and provides groomed ski trails in Lindley Park. The Ski Club works closely with local merchants to provide discounts and to promote local skiing. BSF's goals are to provide affordable programs that allow as many participants as possible and to promote a strong skiing comraderie in the community. |

| Kootenai XC Ski Club Libby/Troy, Montana For over three decades, the Kootenai XC Ski Club has been the home of cross-country enthusiasm in the far Northwest corner of Montana. The Kootenai XC Ski Club practices superior stewardship of the South Flower Creek trails in the Cabinet Mountains and retains responsibility for ski trail grooming during the winter months. The Club participates in the promotion of outdoor fitness activities by sponsoring races all throughout the year and supporting healthy activities for all ages. Additionally, the Club supports after-school programs for teaching kids the fun of cross-country skiing, facilitating equipment rentals to community members, holding weekly social ski outings, and overall promoting a strong love of the outdoors and cross-country skiing in the community. |

Small Print: AXCS typically defines "Clubs" as either non-profit local community organizations with adult (25+ years) programs or training groups (non-profit or commercial) specifically working with adult XC skiers. We also include in this directory selected local XC organizations that have ties to major citizen performance skiing events and programs.
